1. Overview

By placing an order with DogDex Cards you agree to the following terms. Please read them before purchasing. If you have any questions contact us at support@dogdexcards.shop and we'll be happy to help.


2. Custom Orders

All cards are made to order. Each card is custom designed and handmade by one person in Vancouver, Canada. Because every order is unique and production begins shortly after purchase, we ask that you review your submission carefully before completing checkout.

You have 24 hours after placing your order to request changes. After that your order enters production and changes may not be possible.


3. Card Design & Creation

Every DogDex card is designed by hand using paid professional design tools. We do not use artificial intelligence to generate any part of your card. The artwork, layout, stats, and personality traits are all created by a real person who genuinely cares about getting your pet right.

This is not an automated service. Every card gets real time and real attention.


4. Production & Shipping Times

Standard production time is 5-10 business days before shipping. During periods of high demand this may extend to 2-3 weeks. We will always communicate any delays to you directly via email.

Shipping times vary by location and are calculated at checkout. DogDex Cards ships to Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. International customers are responsible for any applicable import taxes, customs fees, or duties charged by their country.


5. Refunds & Credits

All sales are final. Because every card is custom designed and handmade specifically for your pet, we are unable to offer refunds as a standard policy.

However we understand things can go wrong. In the following circumstances we will work with you to make it right:

  • Significant production errors on our part
  • Cards arriving damaged
  • Extreme dissatisfaction with the final product

In these cases we may offer at our discretion a store credit, a reprint, or in exceptional circumstances a partial or full refund. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at support@dogdexcards.shop with photos of the issue and we will do our best to resolve it fairly.

We are a small one person operation and we genuinely care about every card we make. If something isn't right please reach out before assuming we can't help.


6. Photo Submissions

By submitting photos of your pet you confirm that you own the photos or have the right to use them. DogDex Cards will not use your pet's photos for any purpose other than designing your card unless you give explicit permission for us to share on social media.


7. Charity Donations

DogDex Cards donates 25% of every sale to dog rescues and shelters. Donations are processed monthly with the aim of transferring funds by the last business day of each month.

Following each donation a receipt will be published to our website so our community can see exactly where the money is going. We are committed to full transparency around our giving.

Current rescue partners are listed on our website and updated as new partnerships are confirmed.


8. Digital Cards

Digital card orders are delivered via email and are non-refundable once the file has been sent. Please ensure your submission details are correct before purchasing.


9. Intellectual Property

All card designs created by DogDex Cards remain the intellectual property of DogDex Cards. You are welcome to print, share, and display your card for personal use. You may not reproduce or resell card designs commercially without written permission.


10. Privacy

We collect personal information including your name, address, email, and pet details solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and communicating with you about it. If you opt in to our newsletter your email will be used for marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.


11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
